Shannon went to school at Artistic Academy in New Jersey and has been doing hair for 13 years. To keep up on education and the latest techniques, she has also completed training in both New York and Europe.

She moved to Charleston in 2019 and opened Wild Hearts Salon in September of 2021. She is a master colorist specializing in hand painted balayage, and loves cultivating low-maintenance and lived-in color and cuts to suit my guests’ lifestyle. On the other hand, she also loves creating bold, vivid styles for guests that want that out of the box unicorn hair! Her attention to detail extends to hair cutting as well, and she loves working with natural waves and curls to customize an effortless look.

Amy specializes in lived in, low maintenance color, blondes, and haircuts that compliment both your face shape and lifestyle. Her goal is for your cut and color to enhance the beauty you already have, as well style you can recreate at home.

Growing up, Amy was always playing with hair – that then evolved into hair and makeup for friends for school dances, nights out and eventually wedding days. After college and several years working in a corporate environment, Amy was craving creativity and a change, so she decided to go to cosmetology school and turn her favorite hobby into her dream job! She loves getting to create a cut and color to best serve you and hair and makeup for wedding days, photo shoots and special events.
